A new product by MojoRisin is available: Empire v1.0.4 - Every post is a paycheck.
Empire turns forum activity into a business tycoon game. Members buy businesses, and then every reply they post, every thread they start, and every reaction they receive pays every business they own — down to the cent. The more they participate, the bigger the empire. It's the idle-game loop your members already know from their phones, except the clock that drives it is your forum.
The climb is seven tiers deep. Everyone starts with enough for a lemonade stand; own a full tier and the next unlocks — paper routes give way to food trucks, then franchises, big-box retail, luxury brands, banks, and finally the global giants reserved for players who've prestiged. Every business card shows exactly what it pays per post, and businesses level to 50: each level pays a little more, and levels 10, 25, and 50 each double the pay outright. Hover any progress bar and a card shows precisely what that business will pay at each milestone — players always know what they're building toward.
The empire earns even when you don't. Hire another member as your manager and their posting pays your business while they keep a cut you set — 10 to 50%, so generous owners attract the busiest posters and stingy ones take what they can get. Open a position and take applications, or headhunt someone directly. There's a peer-to-peer marketplace too: list a leveled business for sale and another player can buy it outright, levels and all.
Cash out moves earnings to the Empire wallet, and from there it's reinvest or convert — Empire credits exchange into your forum's real currency at a rate you control. When a player's career earnings hit the prestige threshold, they can wipe their whole empire for a permanent earnings multiplier and access to the top tier — then build it all again, faster. Random economy events keep the ride interesting: booms and rush hours multiply everyone's pay, and the occasional recession stings.
The economy tunes itself. Empire reads your currency system's own settings — what a post pays, what a thread's worth, your currency's symbol — and scales the whole game to match, so it plays identically on a board that pays 1 credit a post and one that pays 1,000. Admins can add their own businesses and events, or run the seeded set untouched.
