A new product by MojoRisin is available: Exacta v1.0.0 - A nightly exact-score jackpot for your forum.
Every night one game is drawn at random from the slate. Members buy a ticket by calling the exact final score. Then the whole board waits on the ninth inning.
Nail the exact score and the entire jackpot is yours. Nobody hits it? The pot rolls over and grows every single night — every ticket sold goes straight into it — until the number gets scary enough that the whole forum is playing. When multiple members call the same score they split the pot evenly, and the board shows exactly who's riding which number: each score is a ticket on the wall with the avatars of everyone on it stacked underneath, your own ticket ringed and tagged.
Every winner goes up on the jackpot wall with the score they called and the amount they took — exact score is the only thing that pays, which is exactly why hitting it means something.
The whole thing runs itself. Picks lock at game time and are free to change until then, one score per member per night. Games settle automatically when they go final; postponed games void the night and refund every ticket on their own. Pick your league — MLB or NHL — and flip the option when the season changes: the jackpot carries across the switch untouched, which keeps the game alive from opening day to the Stanley Cup.
