Save it once. Send it forever.

Overview

Give every member their own personal canned-reply library, accessible directly from the editor toolbar. Whether they're answering common questions, posting standardized announcements, or sending the same welcome message to new members, your users save anything they type once and reuse it anywhere a XenForo editor appears — posts, conversations, profile posts, signatures, and any other content type that uses the rich-text editor.

How it works

  1. Highlight text in any editor.
  2. Click the Saved replies button (a chat-bubble icon in the editor toolbar).
  3. Give it a title and click Save — the highlighted content becomes a new saved reply.
  4. Reuse it anywhere — open the saved replies overlay from any editor and click any reply to insert it at the cursor.

That's the entire workflow. Highlight, save, reuse.

Features

  • One-button toolbar integration — adds a single chat-bubble icon to the editor toolbar via XenForo's standard editor button manager. Drag it to any toolbar from the ACP exactly like a built-in button.
  • Save selection only — only the user's highlighted text gets saved, never the entire editor contents.
  • One-click insertion — clicking any saved reply drops it cleanly at the cursor position. Works in both rich-text and BB code source views.
  • Formatted previews — the picker shows each saved reply with full formatting (bold, italic, links, line breaks) so users can recognize the right one at a glance.
  • Per-user library — every member maintains their own private collection. No admin curation required.
  • Most-used first — the picker orders replies by usage count, so frequent ones rise to the top.
  • Built-in management page at Your account → Saved replies for renaming, editing, and deleting.
  • Permission-gated — control which user groups get access via standard XenForo permissions.
  • Configurable per-user limit — set a maximum number of saved replies per user (default 50).
  • Master switch to disable the feature site-wide without uninstalling.

Drop-in compatible with any XenForo 2.3 style. No template edits required after install.

I should be getting paid for this by now. :cool:
 
We'll see. Reattached made me feel like an alpha tester, and I found another bug in the new version today. I'll post about it later.
 
For me, that's a mistake.

Give me all your add-ons and I bet we'll find something in each one.
We currently have over 30 add-ons, 27 of which had bugs, but everything we commissioned exclusively worked perfectly (though it wasn't cheap).

Yeah.. Xenforo has pages and pages of bugs.
 
Unfortunately, they are not the only ones; it is important not to leave the customer alone with this.
I feel good at XenForo, and I've had my forum for 25 years.

???? Alone with what?

I respond as quick as anyone to repair and patch addons as quick as humanly possible. Xenforo has promised a new release for two years and hasnt produced anything.

Every "bug" has been responded to in hours, not years. 1/2 of what you reported were personal preferences and not "bugs"

You are right. Its more.

You found 1 legitimate error message and another that was still functional but wasnt cosmetically correct (pagination)

The rest was

you wanted a line break
a method to select all
hide the paperclip
have username on all pages

Those are all personal preferences. While you may feel like you had some bug riddled addon, when you step back and look it was minor and was fixed ASAP. Even after having a out patient surgery yesterday I fixed it as quickly as possible.
 
No one on my side said it was taking too long; on the contrary, we're receiving praise for it. At Xon, we've been waiting for over a week for a space.
 
Why is there no display in the account menu (avatar dropdown) or in the account sidebar for administration purposes, just like with reattach?
